According to UN Women, one in three women worldwide experiences physical or sexual violence in their lifetime, and women continue to earn less than men for the same work in nearly every country.

However, millions of girls are still denied the right to education due to poverty, cultural norms, and discriminatory laws.
Economic empowerment is another vital aspect of women’s rights. Women’s participation in the workforce and access to equal pay are critical for achieving gender equality. Yet, the gender pay gap remains significant, with women earning about 77 cents for every dollar earned by men globally, according to the International Labour Organization (ILO).
